Jon Allen's debut album "Dead Man's Suit" was released in the UK on June 1st. Following the radio success of "In Your Light", the title track "Dead Man's Suit" was playlisted at Radio 2 in June. "Down By The River" has further enhanced Jon's growing reputation, having been playlisted at Radio 2 and Magic 105.4 from August. Jon supported Seal on his European tour during the summer before commencing his own headlining shows, touring throughout the UK until November. Georgie Dennis has 2 co-writes on the Sweetbox album, released June 2009 , "We Can Work It Out " and "Crash Landed". The album reached No. 3 in the Japanese charts.
Our new signings over the summer include Michael Palmer. Michael, a composer, sound designer and producer has been working in Commercials, Film, TV and Branding since 2001. He has worked with numerous household names, most recently VW and Disney.
Also joining is Pete Diggens-The Aurophonic Workshop who works with international composers in the advertising and broadcast industry. Over the past 10 years he's produced music for hundreds of spots for the likes of Coke, 02, Fiat, amongst others.
Recent commissions include the BBC Indents, The Royal Mint "Hands" commercial and Kingsmill's Confessions commercials.
Recent advertising compositions produced by A-Bomb include a reworking of The Can-Can for the worldwide launch of FIFA 2010 from EA Sports in October 2009 and "The Griddle Effect" campaign for KFC.
Sharon Shannon's new album "Saints and Scoundrels" was released late September 2009. The album features new songs from a superstar cast that includes Imelda May, Jerry Fish, The Waterboys, Carol Keogh and Shane MacGowan.
Marseille Figs release there new EP, "Jumbo" October 2009. Produced by Pogue Jem Finer, it features 5 gigantic new songs.
Roesy's new album Fable is due for release November 2009, during which time he is touring Ireland.
