Kym Mazelle

Raised in Gary, Indiana, Kym Mazelle grew up a stones throw from one of pop music's reigning dynasties, the Jackson's. During her studies at Mundelein University, Kym set out to become a diva in the true sense of the word by studying opera. Disillusioned by the genre, Kym quickly realized that she would have to take a different path to divadom. The world of opera's potential loss was dance music's great gain, with Kym as one of the early pioneers of Chicago House Music.
