2008 has seen continued writing and production success including Ava's Mad About The Boy and Ricki Lee's Real Good Time.
Wes spent 2006 & 2007 writing & producing for several artists, such as Maxi Priest, Simon Webbe, Eylem, Moni, Jah Mirakle & Jessica. Wes had 2 cuts on Simon Webbe's 2nd album, Grace, released in November 2006, including "My Soul Pleads For You", the second single from the album, released in February 2007.
Wes (2Play) first exploded onto the UK garage scene in 1997 as a DJ, playing alongside EZ and Karl "TuffEnuff" Brown. But just playing records wasn't enough,and he soon teamed up with one of the hottest UK 2-Step producers, Sunship. 2Play is also the man behind the huge club cover of the Kevin Lyttle hit 'Turn me on'.
His debut single 'So Confused' came out january 2004 and topped the charts and remained in the top ten for 7 weeks! and went on to earn 2play a Mobo for best collaboration. His second single 'It Cant Be Right' jumped straight into the UK Top 10 upon release,and was another big hit.
