It may have been cold and snowy outside, but all continues apace at Wardlaw Banks.

December saw the release of  'Spirit Of The Glen - Journey', the second album for UCJ from The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards. Partly recorded on the frontlines of a war zone in Basra, this remarkable collection of songs represents true dedication and spirit. A mobile recording unit was used to capture many of the tracks including 'For The Fallen', an emotive poem spoken over a solo piper, recorded on a runway with the hum of Basra in the distance.
