Georgie Dennis, one of our many rays of sunshine and another one to look out for, has co-written "Tonight We Ride" on Kate Ryans album "Free" which was released in May across Europe on ARS/EMI.  Kate is a hugely successful Belgium artist with sales all over mainland Europe and the US.

Wessley Johnson has done it again with Mad About The Boy, a sunshine filled pop-reggae track, due for a July release by up and coming reggae singster, Ava Leigh.

The song also features on the forthcoming UK film Angus, Thongs & Perfect Snogging - from The Director Of Bend It Like Beckham and Bride And Prejudice, Gurinder Chadha. (release date 25 July).

The Pogues
The long awaited Pogues Box Set was released on June 09, on Rhino. "Just look them straight in the eye and say POGUEMAHONE" contains over 100 tracks across 5CD's, spanning three decades of The Pogues. With contributions from Philip Chevron, Darryl Hunt and Terry Woods, it includes demo's, rehearsal recordings, BBC sessions, live tracks and other rarities.

Maxi Priest has established himself as one of the top British reggae singers of all time. He is one of only two UK reggae acts (the other being UB40) to score an American Billboard Number One with the song "Close to You", which was released in 1990. As well as working on Maximum Jamaica (due for release later this year) Maxi has also agreed to be UB40s special lead vocalist for a series of shows this Summer. He has just released his latest single in collaboration with UB40. It will feature on UB40s latest album, Twentyfourseven. On Monday 9th June, UB40 will release their first single, "Dance Until the Morning Light" - vocals by Maxi.

Sharon Shannon 's Galway Girl tops the Irish charts. Released on April 30th, the best of Sharon Shannon has topped the Irish album charts for several weeks. The album is due for UK release in the Summer, following the success on the single Galway Girl, which has featured in the Magners Cider advertising campaign.
